Earlier in March I received the 2016 Q1 Bonus Box (#RANBonusBox) from Rakuten Affiliate Network. ( @RakutenMKTG_US via twitter or on Instagram via @RakutenAffiliateNetwork). Among the items inside the box was a gift certificate from #DAWGS (via usadawgs.com) which I used to purchase a blue t-shirt and a red tank top.
DAWGS sells women’s, men’s and kids’ footwear and apparel of the sort you wear when comfort is your number one priority.
The items that I purchased with my Gift certifcate were the DAWGS Basic Crew Neck T-Shirt in blue and the DAWGS Racerback Tank Top in tomato red.
Basic Crew Neck blue t-Shirt
I figured I’d try to have a little fun taking some pics to show how the t-shirt fits. It’s a nice cute little t-shirt. I like how it fits. I would have liked it more if the sleeves were just a little bit longer. I do have to admit, I would probably not spend $25 on a plain t-shirt ordinarily. Maybe if I was a little bit wealthier, but at my income level, $25 for a simple t-shirt is a bit too much. Sad to have so little in the bank, I know.
The outfit: old pair of Mossimo Supply Co skinny jeans, the DAWGS blue t-shirt, old white Nike sneakers, Nike cap, Folli Follie watch, Kate Spade bracelet.
Racerback Tank Top
The tomato red racerback tank top is described on the DAWGS website as “the perfect basic”. It’s made of 95% Super Rayon 5% Spandex. It’s list of features include:
- Lightweight and soft
- Scoop neck
- Sporty racerback
- Slim fit
- Modern, longer silhouette
- Perfect for layering or on its own
This tank top is very fitted. Like the t-shirt it comes with a $25 price tag. I know that’s nothing for some people but for me, it would be really hard to bring myself to a point of being nonchalant about spending $25 on a tank top. I’m not suggesting these items aren’t worth $25. I’m simply saying that a $25 tank top and a $25 t-shirt would constitute extravagant purchases for those specific types of items for my specific budget. But I do find them nice and comfortable and cute.
