Valentino Brocade Butterfly Bambolina Dress

I wonder how many times she wore this Brocade Butterfly Bambolina Valentino Dress. I’d guess not many. Based on the things I’ve read in her diaries. She seems like she was one of those women who took pride in the fact that she never had to wear the same thing twice. It’s a beautiful dress for sure. One of the many Valentino dresses she has in her closet. I’m not sure why he wants me to wear this particular dress tonight. But he has said this is the dress I must wear. He actually went into the closet and brought it out and said, “This is the dress you must wear.” And he has said I should wear it with one of the black Saint Laurent pumps. She has a few pairs of black Saint Laurent pumps. She has other black pumps too. So I’m not sure why he wants me to wear a pair of the Saint Laurent pumps specifically. But he’s the one in charge. He’s calling the shots.

I still can’t get over the fact that all her stuff fit me. You’d think this was my closet or something, except for the fact of course that the only way I would have been able to afford a nearly $4500 dress would have been to lift it from Barney’s or wherever I would be able to find a $4500 Valentino dress being sold.

Everything she owns is high end and super expensive. The prices are stuck on the hangers and boxes as if for some reason she needed to be reminded how much everything cost. I’m not sure what to make of it, and when I asked him he just looked at me. He didn’t answer.

This is such a weird thing that I’m doing. I know that. You don’t have to tell me. I’m freaked out about it; but I’d be lying if I said I’d prefer to be where I was a month ago.  I don’t know that I’m ready for tonight though. I don’t think I can do a convincing job of pretending that I’m her. I don’t think I have the smile quite right; and her voice–as good as I am at doing voices there’s still something missing. He has said so himself. I need to work on that a lot more. So he wants me to not talk tonight. He’ll plead laryngitis on my behalf.

I hope I’ll past my first test with their friends and family. He showed me a picture of her in the Valentino Brocade Butterfly Bambolina Dress and I have to say, I do look eerily like her.  I still can’t get over how alike she and I look for real. It’s strange how it’s possible for two people to look enough alike to be mistaken for twins even though they’re not related to each other.

I love this Valentino dress though. She had great taste. This is a gorgeous dress. Her closet is filled to overflowing with things I wouldn’t have even bothered to dream about ever touching. I’ll be totally honest with you. As weird as this whole thing is, I feel like I’m living a fairy tale. Especially when I step into her closet. It’s like I’m living a fantastic dream where I’ve been let lose inside a high end designer boutique and given permission to take whatever I want.

Seriously, I can’t get over her closet! It’s like a house. It’s got rooms for everything. I guess you’d call the rooms huge walk-in compartments inside a huge walk in closet. It’s kind of ridiculous if you ask me. Who wants to go from room to room finding what they need when they’re getting ready to go out? I’m trying my best to keep things as ordered and organized as she has them, but it’s not the easiest thing in the world for someone as inclined to chaos as I am. At least I have a personal maid whose job it is to clean up behind me. Can you imagine?
