Nicole Richie was recently spotted out and about wearing a $495 turtleneck maxi print dress from Jean Paul Gaultier. The dress is a form-fitting dress that looks more on the casual than formal side. It’s a floral-print tulle dress with a turtleneck and long sleeves. The print is described as a “fiery garden print”.
Nicole wore her Jean Paul Gaultier Winter Garden-Print Turtleneck Maxi Dress to the “Nordstrom Gala” event in California last night. She paired the dress with Christian Louboutin Zazou Pointed-Toe Leopard-Print Calf Hair Derby Flats.
Personally I’m not 100% loving Nicole’s Nordstrom Gala look. I don’t 100% hate it either but I don’t think the ensemble is the best Nicole has ever put together. I think the print of the dress has so much going on and the leopard print shoes also insist on themselves so one gets kind of confused trying to figure it all out. You can’t hear what the dress is saying and you can’t hear what the shoes are saying because they are both talking over each other and shouting to outdo each other in their insistence on being heard.
Here is the dress Nicole wore. It is available via Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. Both places have the dress priced at $495.00.

The dress is nice by itself although it doesn’t seem to have a “Gala” dress look but then what does someone who has never attended a gala know about what constitutes a “Gala dress” look and what doesn’t? Nicole is in a better position to know whether or not her Jean Paul Gaultier Winter Garden-Print Turtleneck Maxi Dress was suitable to wear to the gala; and by the fact that she wore it I guess it must have been suitable.
The shoes are nice by themselves as well but mixing them together” I’m not sure the look worked that well.
These shoes might have worked better with Nicole Richie’s Jean Paul Gaultier dress
