The art of the Crisp Packet
It’s clear the Anya Hindmarch people are very proud of the crisp packet clutch and why wouldn’t they be? The clutch is a hot seller. Don’t be surprised to see “Sold Out” printed on pages where you end up looking for particular colors.
On their website anyahindmarch.com the designers give us a peak at the work that goes into making these “out of this world” clutch purses.
via anyahindmarch.com – To make the Crisp Packet Clutch we first create a three-dimensional scan of the real thing, which is used to produce the seven moulds that are needed to create each one. Each clutch is cast from thin metal and then hand-varnished and lined in our workshop in Florence, as the irregular shape makes this impossible to do using a machine.
It’s not hard to see why this clutch is popular. The potato chips bag shape is fun and the colors are exciting. The contours of the bag make it that much more fun and exciting. This is a bag you don’t think twice about buying regardless of the price tag (if you have the money to afford the purchase that is).

The Inside view
Doesn’t look like you can carry all that much in the clutch and we don’t see any inside compartments. But if we had the money ($1300 – $1600 range) we’d still buy ourselves an Anya Hindmarch Crisp Packet Clutch. They are just too cute to resist.
