Ceramic watches – quality vs. price

Men and women see watches as statements of power, fashion accessories or both. Given this fact, the world’s most known fashion designers have expanded their line of products to watches. For most people who do not earn a six figure paycheck, watches are more about the brand and the fashion statement than the statement of power, the functions and the mechanism of the watch.

You can become a true fashion icon by buying a watch that is both swiss tailored, with an automatic mechanism, ceramic case and not that expensive. Why? Because a ceramic case is most of the times less expensive than a stainless steel one. Ceramic watches are in, casual but stylish and fresh. If you have a budget of over $1000 you can always buy a Rado Ceramica watch made out of high tech ceramic that costs around $1900 and can be found here.

If you have a lower budget of $400 – $600 but you can buy a Tissot T Trend Cera Ladies watch which you can find in black or white ceramics and round or square dial. You can buy the watches here. I love the fact that I have them on black and white so I can mix and match them with almost everything in my closet.

For a more than reasonable budget you can buy a Fossil Stella White Dial Women’s Quartz for around $80 or a Guess GC lady silver white ceramic watch for $230 that can be found here.

When buying a watch you must acknowledge the fact that it reflects your personality, your style and your social status. Whichever watch you choose, you must also take proper care of it which means wearing your watch often, cleaning your watch regularly, getting rid of scratches and not exposing it to perfume and other chemical residues.

Regardless of your personal style, my biggest tip when it comes to watches is NEVER OVER ACCESSORIZE!

Keep it simple,

Diana
