Today we came across a picture on Instagram of a lady wearing black opaque tights with her red and nude Valentino rockstud t-strap pumps. It caught us by surprise for a second, but then we got to wondering, who says you can’t wear tights with Valentino rockstud pumps? Specifically with the t-strap open heel pumps.
So we turned to google to ask the question, “Can you wear tights with Valentino rockstud pumps?”
Via Google images we came across lots of pictures of people wearing stockings and opaque tights with Valentino rockstud pumps.
For those of us who do not own a pair of Valentino rockstud pumps, the question becomes, can you wear tights with open heel cut-out style shoes? And the answer is obviously yes, you can if you want.
Not everyone would agree that tights with open heel cut-out style shoes is a good idea; but that’s the beauty of style and fashion. It’s about what you like for you. And so, if you like to wear tights with your rockstud pumps or your slingback pumps or other shoes that are open in the back and have cut-out details or a peep-toe front, wear your tights to your heart’s content. And if you don’t like to wear tights with shoes that fit this description, don’t wear tights. There’s no right and wrong. No person or organization gets to tell you what you can and cannot wear. There are so many ways that our individual rights get infringed upon. How we dress should never be dictated by what other people think is okay and not okay to wear.
