It’s that time of year when it seems everybody is getting married, having a birthday, having a baby, throwing a ‘just because the sun is shining’ party, and you find yourself with a million different invites to a million different events, requiring you to put together a million different outfits.
And on top of that you have to buy a million gifts for the brides-to-be (bridal showers), the birthday girls (or boys), the moms-to-be (baby showers). Plus there’s mother’s day coming up on the 8th of May, and all those graduations in May and June adding to the list of gifts you have to buy and outfits you have to put together to attend dinners and receptions and such.
May to August are for many the most fun months of the year, but late spring to late summer can prove to be a very expensive time of year. Even for those of us who don’t have a full calendar of events to attend, the warm weather and bright sunny days compel us to go out and do things, which requires us to have suitable clothes and shoes and accessories to keep us looking and feeling our most confident best.
Lucky for us, Macys is holding a Friends & Family sale from April 24th – May 2nd.
So we can pick up a few new items of clothing for our summer 16 wardrobe, plus buy gifts for all the moms on our Mother’s Day Gifts list, all the friends and family members for whom we are going to have to buy birthday presents, graduation gifts, baby shower and bridal shower gifts. And gifts for the guys on our lists too!
