I have decided to declare today Blue Wednesday. Why? No particular reason. It’s a somewhat dreary start to my Wednesday . No blue skies. 16 days 7 hours and counting till Winter. Not that I’m looking forward to winter. I’m not.
I just realized I am actually wearing 3 shades of blue right now. I didn’t realize it when I decided to declare today blue Wednesday. I am wearing navy blue knee-length sweat pants with a navy blue t-shirt and a bright blue hooded zip front sweat shirt with pink leg warmers and black socks with pink and green patterns.
My clothes are several years old and still work even though the most expensive item was $12.99 and the combined cost was under $50
By comparison here are some similar pieces that it would have cost me about $356 to purchase. Still not bad considering you can find t-shirts alone costing that amount from some high end brands. (Sneakers not included in cost calculation),

For the price of this bag you can buy yourself a house although the house will not be a grand mansion in a great neighborhood. It will more likely be something that looks run-down and is located in a neighborhood in which you won’t want to live. Given the choice between buying the Birkin bag and a 50K house I’d probably go for the Birkin bag.
$49 500 is a lot of money for a bag; but I guess if you have a net worth in the hundred millions it’s a drop in the bucket.
